David Neuberger enhances his consulting practice with over 40 years of
successful financial management experience. He utilizes this knowledge
in assisting small and medium sized companies in solving their
financial, accounting, and internal audit problems. For example, he is
particularly skilled at improving financial reporting, developing cash
forecasts and budgets, reducing working capital, implementing internal
control procedures, and enhancing general and cost accounting systems.
During his career, David has held positions as the CFO, Controller,
Treasurer, and Director of Internal Audit for multi-national
corporations. These companies have been industry leaders in a
wide-variety of industries including oil service, chemicals, plastics,
and pharmaceuticals.
He has successfully increased the efficiencies of the various
financial teams he has managed and led implementations of numerous
financial software systems. In the last 15 years he has managed
financial/accounting and control systems in an SAP environment with
the most recent experience integrating a domestic instance into a
global system and making a complete revision of a payroll accounting
application.
One of the hallmarks of his career has been implementation of systems
and procedures that have dramatically improved working capital.
Recently he played an important role in the creation of a global
shared services operation, which handles payables, receivables, and
accounting, allowing a domestic company to reduce its financial staff
in half with savings of $1.5 million.
David has played significant roles in numerous acquisitions and
divestitures in a wide variety of industries.
He prides himself by being a hands-on manager who has achieved
excellent results with relatively small teams.
David has active involvement in non-profit organizations including
participation on the boards of private schools and his country club.
David earned a BS in Industrial Management at Purdue University and an
MBA at the Harvard Business School.
